The 'galvanised steel' function of the Urban Round 35 Litre Bin refers to its galvanised steel manufacture. Galvanised steel is a steel coated with a layer of zinc to protect it against corrosion and rust, making the bin particularly resistant to weather and ideal for outdoor urban use. The finish can either be in polyester powder for a durable colour, or with a transparent anti-oxidant varnish preserving the metallic aspect while protecting the material.
The bin is designed to be easily emptied thanks to a pivoting system. The perforated bottom allows for liquid drainage, which helps maintain cleanliness and hygiene. In addition, it can be securely fixed to the ground at two points to prevent unwanted movement, and the necessary screws for installation are provided with the product.
